The impact of selected agrotechnical treatments on the growth of wild garlic (Allium ursinum L.) leaves in field cultivation

Wild garlic (Allium ursinum L.) is a typical spring geophyte whose natural habitat beech forests. The research aimed to assess the possibility of cultivating wild in field conditions significantly different from those required by this plant, using environmentally friendly and unconventional treatments. This study evaluate effect selected agricultural practices (catch crop, shading biopreparations) on growth leaves grown field. results show that biomass catch crops shade plants biopreparations marine algae are justified regarding leaf yield. Ploughing phacelia catchment soil with an unstable structure positively affected garlic, increasing length leaves, their number, width blade. Winter turnip rape used as plant caused increase value FV/FM index (the quotient variable fluorescence maximum fluorescence), also, depending year study, Soaking bulbs before planting ‘Kelpak SL’ solution increased number growing without cover second third years cultivation. In first vegetation, longer larger blade ensured preparation was sprayed three times pre-soaking bulbs. Considering biopreparations’ positive ratio values, use prospective occurrence dry alternative irrigation.
